Orkut is the one which i like the most just coz of the fact that I have all my frnds there and also I have been using it since a long time. It has helped me in making my network strong and bigger.
Linkedin is my professional/business network. I would say its the best place to build a professional network.

You mint is a gr8 concept. Although after mginger but its better..Its a concept with money for u.. U can send free sms to all ur frnds and also u get paid for making ur network larger. this is not available in any of the above sites.. else i would be a millionaire :) looking @ the list of frnds...
